Jess Hamond, Music Director from One Community Church was kind to support us with her music at the funeral service at St. Christopher's church. She performance was very touching.
Family and friends that attended Mama Rhoda's funeral. The church was packed with many who loved her.

Every
Person born on this earth has a Mother and every mother is as precious to them
as Our mother.
Each
mother would have qualities and attributes that they pass down to their generations
by virtue of their life style, attributes and genetics. I do not
want to delve into the history of family- it would be worth a biography- So I
am just touching on our mothers’ qualities .
This
Speaks on behalf of all of us her children and their families and perhaps the
relatives and friends who found her their blessing.
AN
ODE TO OUR MOTHER
A
MATCHLESS MOTHER SO TOTAL AND STRONG
To
crown her our queen is not wrong
The
wealth of our mother was experience and wisdom
Gained
through her journey in this earthly kingdom.
She
was born into a family where earthly riches did flow
Losing
them through tough times was never a blow
Rather
, she gained from her worldly losses
The
strength to bear her earthly crosses
Sometimes
her feelings were hurt , it made her sad,
With
forgiveness and endurance she returned glad
With
boldness and strength she dared
To
spread the scriptural word
With
conviction she would correct us for what’s incorrect
Never
pretentiously cajoling , rather fastidious and forthright.
Our
mother was amazingly astounding
Her
spirituality fed her body mind and soul
She
maintained an unfailing connection with her creator
Through
her journals and scripture she was her own pastor
In
our youthful she was our teacher,
Maths
science and literature she knew better
Her
material home in India did not matter
She
let go all for family was prime factor
In
later years she stayed connected with one and all
OPTUS
and good friends delighted in her call
Our
mother was strong , generous , tolerating and sharing
Mother,
your qualities to us are fondly glaring
Your
standards , ethics and morals are so high
Whenever we trip we know you will be nigh.
Good
bye mother, our love , our teacher, my debating friend, Good bye from each of us
that you have touched on this earthly journey – Your mortal body leaves – but
your spirit remains with us to celebrate,

all your children and their families and extended families,
your friends one
and all.
